Forest management

The forest we cut down today was planted by someone who was here before us. When we plant new forest, we know that it will only be felled in 30, 40, even 100 years. It gives perspective and responsibility, and therefore it is natural for us to run environmentally certified forestry.

We strive to adapt our forestry to the climate and an important step has been to break up all too homogeneous areas and get a more diversified forest with both hardwoods and conifers. In this way, we spread the risks and adapt for the future.
